The shoe is incredible for foot protection. I’ve stepped on some things I probably shouldn’t have and dropped many things on my feet including a corner of a large gun safe recently and these shoes saved my toes! The toe end is nice and wide and the insoles are fairly comfortable I work 12 hour days always on my feet and they’ve been holding up great. Laces aren’t the cheap nothing kind they have stayed intact and when the knots tied well they don’t come untied. The little center stretch of composite that reached up to the tongue of the shoe sits a little low I don’t notice it much unless I’m wearing my thicker outdoor cold weather socks but it doesn’t push into my feet at all it’s just a weird angle. But fantastic shoes absolutely recommend to anyone that works long hours at any work sites with hazardous materials in/on the walking surfaces or even in the kitchen where anything can fall. Also, great non slip tread I’ve walked through grease, oil, and many other slippery substances and didn’t even notice compared to my other shoes where I’ll slide across it all.They are very comfortable after a few months of use, soles still very intact as well. The only issue I had was after the first two weeks the laces started to tear, but that was an easy fix.So nice and comfy . Perfect for work.Just I don’t a lake a laces on any my shoes or snickers.-
