I bought this to match an existing lamp I had previously purchased from Ikea.The original Ikea lamp is still working (7+ years) . This new one did not last 4 months!There is no option to return this faulty lamp.I bought this from amazon because I couldn't order it from IKEA's website. I should have just driven to the nearest IKEA because it ended up costing me twice the price and completely stopped working after 5 months.Loved the lamp and customer service promptly sent the correct light bulbBought directly from IKEA, this lamp is very classy!Sturdy, well made, it is of excellent quality, nicely adjustable!(If it stops working, I replace the bulb.)Everyone who sees this lamp has commented on how very nice this lamp looks! It's gorgeous and does a great lighting job, not glaring bright, but warm and cozy to read a book by.Easy to put together simply screw together the 3 parts the lamp cord ALREADY runs through - ta da! Takes about 1 minute.
